A fusion of business strategy, institutional oversight, and interior design.
R. Ingram-Harvey leads Adorn Interiors with an approach shaped by more than fifteen years of corporate execution, institutional account leadership, project management, real estate exposure, and client-facing strategy.
Her work brings business discipline and aesthetic intelligence into the same room—helping private homeowners, executives, institutions, and property stakeholders make more deliberate decisions about the spaces they occupy, operate, and invest in.
The built environment is both an experience and an operating asset.
My approach to interiors was shaped in environments where execution, accountability, communication, timing, and stakeholder confidence mattered. Before founding Adorn, I worked across complex corporate and institutional settings that required cross-functional coordination, market strategy, contract awareness, relationship management, and disciplined follow-through.
That background continues to influence how I approach design. I do not view a property as a collection of rooms waiting to be decorated. I look at how the space functions, how decisions will be governed, how resources will be allocated, how vendors will be coordinated, and how the final environment should support comfort, credibility, use, and long-term value.
Commercial discipline brought into the design process.
Over the course of my career, I have worked in roles involving institutional accounts, regulated industries, market development, operational coordination, real estate environments, and complex stakeholder relationships.
These experiences developed a working style grounded in preparation, documentation, communication, risk awareness, decision sequencing, and responsibility for outcomes.
Strategy, stewardship, and aesthetic integrity.
Adorn’s work is guided by three connected disciplines. None is treated as secondary, because an effective interior must be well considered, well managed, and beautifully resolved.
Institutional Strategy
Complex homes and professional environments require more than aesthetic instinct. They require clear priorities, defined responsibilities, sequenced decisions, realistic expectations, and professional communication. Adorn applies an institutional mindset to the project lifecycle so that design choices are made within a more stable framework.
Strategic Stewardship
Stewardship means remaining attentive to the client’s objectives, investment priorities, approved direction, schedule, and project continuity. Adorn helps organize selections, procurement decisions, vendor communication, and implementation considerations so the work remains connected to its intended outcome.
Aesthetic Integrity
Operational clarity without beauty is incomplete. Adorn develops interiors through proportion, materiality, rhythm, comfort, architectural context, and thoughtful curation. The objective is a space that feels refined and personal—not generic, overdecorated, or disconnected from the people who use it.
Principal-led does not mean personality-led. It means accountability-led.
Clients work with Adorn because they want creative judgment supported by structure. The principal-led model keeps the project’s goals, design direction, decision logic, and communication standards connected throughout the engagement.
This is particularly important when the property carries financial significance, public visibility, organizational importance, family history, operational demands, or multiple stakeholders.
